Loved it!

I just finished reading Chocolate Beach and except from leaving me with a desperate craving for some chocolate, it also left me with a really good feeling inside. This is just my kind of book! The plot, the ocean, the characters, the food and the style is all wonderful :-)
Julie, if there's anything I can do to make the writing easier for you, let me know alright? Some swedish chocolate perhaps? :-) I really want to read more of your writings!

By the way, I don't eat brownies for breakfast (like Bri) but I'm really not a breakfast person at all (except when it comes to hotel breakfasts). Everyone says that breakfast is the most important meal of the day, but I'm more into drinking juice and eating fruits for breakfast than eating anything that would keep my energy level high throughout the day. So, any suggestions for breakfasts that are tasty but still easy to make? What do all of you eat for breakfast?

I love making my own juice, it tastes so much better than the one you buy at the grocery store...

The kids and I make a smoothie every school morning, when we dont have much time. We use a handful of Frozen fruit,a couple ice cubes, big scoop of yogurt, red alert, and dream protien powder. Te kids love it & when were running late i can just put it in to-go cups!

MOUTHWATERING....

I usually just have toast, not very exciting and an apple at the moment.

The book sounds good, perhaps I'll put it on my read-at-least-once-in-a-lifetime list.

I used to make my own juice in my Omega juicer. For breakfast I like homemade granola, oatmeal with fruit, waffles with fruit, and as a special treat crepes with fruit...definitely a common theme of fruit!

Aaah breakfast. I'm with Ang on this one - smoothies are great. Kind of like juice but with a bit of added oomph!

my breakfast is almost always the same thing: some rolled oats ( uncooked) in a bowl, along with some nuts, some ground flaxseed, coconut or whatever else is in the pantry, and 5 prunes. Topped with milk or plain yogurt. A sort of muesli.

Thank you for all your ideas! Perhaps I should try to make smoothies instead of sticking to my usual juice ;-)

And the book is great! You should read it :-)

I am answering this post kind of late but I just have to tell you what I eat for breakfast (almost every day for the past two weeks). Vanilla yogurt with apple pieces and grapenuts cereal or granola...something crunchy in it. I love it. I am not much of a breakfast person either but I really like this one.
